Travel is the means to an end and that end is the destination. No matter where your destination may be, you and your child should have as much fun getting there as you do when you’ve arrived. That’s not always the easiest thing to do, but, with a little help from blogs like this, it can be. This page isn’t about that, though. No, it’s all about the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow here. That’s exactly what your final destination is, after all, so enjoy it like there’s no tomorrow.
My daughter and I have spent years of travel finding new and exciting things that speak to our interests, so what we choose will be different than what you do – and that’s all to the good. No one would ever discover something wholly new if they simply followed directions their entire lives. You need to branch out and explore the edges of your knowledge while staying firmly in your child’s comfort zone. That’s where the best memories are made.
I invite you to take a tour of my favorite destinations here and enjoy some of the memories we’ve made as a family that will last forever – here and in our hearts. I’m sure you and your little one will do the same when you make the choice to see what’s on the other side of the horizon. Just take a deep breath, make a solid plan, and keep you and your child’s happiness front and center. If you do that, you cannot go wrong.
