Tola’s Travels – Travel Gear: No one sets out to be a single parent, and through circumstance, anything can happen in life, so all we’re left with is the very best we can do. Part of that “best” includes taking our child with us whenever we venture out to see the world. It can do so much for your child to learn through experience in conjunction with school, and give countless “Show & Tell” moments your child can be proud to share. It really is an amazing gift to give your child.

One thing I’ve learned through my own experiences with my daughter, technology can be your best friend. There are any number of excellent gadgets and plenty of useful gear on the market, if you know what you’re looking for and have the money to spend. Unfortunately, there are some less-than-stellar products out there, too. That’s why I’ve included this page and all its great ideas – so you won’t waste the money I did.

Traveling isn’t always simple. There are a lot of things that will be out of your control. But, with a little planning and foresight, you can avoid the pitfalls that too many of us have suffered through, and have the vacation with your little one you’ve always dreamed about. While all of the products you see are tested, and each one given an honest accounting, it’s simply not fair for me to say that what was poor for my uses would be the same for yours. After all, little boys and little girls can be quite different in the way they do things – and how they play with them.
